Thanks to Naperville Central Peace&Conflict Studies students who made it possible for our students to hear candidates for Mayor&City Council share their sustainable energy platform. Thanks, candidates, for honoring the voice & perspective of our Redhawks in this important issue.
We had an engaging sustainability forum at Naperville Central this morning! My favorite question from the audience: How can Council more efficiently educate residents about issues like the IMEA contract? My answer: we need more youth involvement.
Thank you to the Naperville Central students who hosted the environmental candidate forum today. They posed excellent questions to help us learn where the candidates stand on renewable energy and our coal-based electricity from IMEA. Be sure to vote on or before April 4!
Tonight, I had the opportunity to present 4 Naperville Central seniors with the Principal’s Award. Mia Hernandez, Jocey Rivera, Diego Jimenez&Becca Mask have all made outstanding contributions to the NCHS community & positively impacted the experience for all Redhawks. #RedhawkPride
