We graduated a new Ph.D. last spring (Dr. Abby Meeks), and welcomed a few new lab members this fall. Despite the chaos going on "out there," my job is the best, and we are accomplishing a lot here in conservation social science at #TXST.

In a world that needs more of them, sadly, it just lost a leader, role model, and luminary.

I started expanding my research program in 2023. I appreciate Texas State University for recognizing my success (top $ getter in my department ‘23-‘25), yet, the award is a reminder of and represents my commitment to providing conservation social science opportunities for post docs and students.
