49 green votes for District 49 on my priority bill, LB 126 ✅It didn't come out exactly like I wanted but we did make some important improvements to our Homestead Exemption and I'm excited to keep working on it next year. Thanks to my colleagues for the support on this bill.

Aaaaaand we're back! The special session on property tax relief is set to convene today at 10am. I have a few proposals I plan to drop, but my big focus is ensuring whatever gets passed is sustainable and doesn't shift the tax burden onto low and middle-income families.

I've introduced three bills this special session -- LBs 12, 29 and 30. Will update as these bills make their way through the hearing process!
