Not even the purses wrongfully slashed by nearly 50% courtesy of the TRAO cartel for non-members AFTER nominations were closed can deter my enthusiasm for tonight's Classic Stakes Remington Park good thing the only owner good thing I happened to be the only owner affected

While I'm excited entries for opening day Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots are today, I'm discouraged track is having an in person draw inside, foregoing a Zoom draw like most other US tracks including Churchill Downs. Seems reckless & senseless to put agents, officials in that spot.

"...and that's a wrap Tampa Bay Downs Official Account" After 37 years, Track Announcer Richard Grunder made his final race call as Friendly Fella wins Race 10. Thank you for the memories, Richard! Congrats on an amazing career. You will be missed & we wish you all the best in retirement!

I have been blessed to be around some of the best people and horseman in this game. I received this picture of a man i am truly honored to have called my friend. A young (should be HOF’er) Richard P. Hazelton. Arguably the best to ever put a bridle on a horse. @ScottTVG

As a kid growing up on the Chicago Racetracks Richard Hazelton was our Whittingham, Frankel, Jerkens. He was The King and deserves to be in the HoF.

I couldn't be more thankful for the work Daniel Ross put into this piece. The result is something my family will be able to remember my Father by forever. Also thank you to TDN for running Daniel's idea. It's such a great take. thoroughbreddailynews.com/one-life-in-a-…
