Sadly this is far from the norm these days. Day in, day out I request CVP from the Courts to protect and assist my Counsel and am refused all too frequently. Usually for no other reason than “HHJ doesn’t like CVP in their Court”! Thank you for calling this out Allan Compton KC

First day back… let’s see what wonders await us this week!

Today I witnessed a listing officer actively ignore multiple requests and chasers for CVP. This has resulted in a 6 hour round trip for counsel tomorrow and a returned brief. Why on Earth can’t the courts realise the impact this has on our Bar?!
