SDOTransformation Transportation Choices Coalition Washington State DOT Pretty sure they're talking about ATU. If we're paying someone it's news to us... But yeah, give that lobbyist a raise! We support the nefarious plan to "divert ever more tax dollars from roads" and towards a sustainable transportation system.

BREAKING: Seattle will permanently close 20 miles of existing "Stay Healthy" streets to most vehicle traffic to create more space for people walking, biking and recreating, even after the pandemic ends. seattletimes.com/seattle-news/t…

Colin O'Keefe Seattle Bike Blog Joe Veyera Or just stop trying to permit fee companies out of business. We should've instead subsidized them like we do private car storage. No permit fees, get payments from city for meeting specific service measurements, minimum required # of bikes & commitment to service time period.

My favorite complaint we’ve received about the #stayhealthystreets so far: “The noise level has greatly gone up from children playing in the street right in front of my house... I may be forced to move”

I just want to say: thank you Dongho Chang. You're so passionate about what you do and you work so hard. Seattle Department of Transportation is better because you're there. You and your team are amazing, and while we and SDOT may be at odds at times I hope you know we appreciate every improvement. ❤

Benjamin Ross “We are very pleased with the level of safety & convenience this new intersection has brought to our motorists,” stated Falmouth District Supervisor Meg Bohmke. You can have a high level of motorist convenience or safety Meg. Not both. You chose motorist convenience @ $50M/mile.

Your periodic reminder ~8 wks into this lockdown, #safe35th still doesn't have protected bike lanes, despite a decade of community outreach/input, the PBLs being fully designed & days from being striped back in March 2018 before Jenny Durkan personally cut them completely.

There've been lots of other crashes. But let's not forget the truck driving into the bank lobby. Luckily nobody was waiting at the bus stop when it happened. x.com/VickyaClarke/s…

I'm sure #MoscowMitch and his wife, Secretary of Transportation Sec. Elaine Chao, are hard at work right now for a similar visionary plan for these United States of America.
