The #PULSEDAF trial introduces a new safer method by creating lesions in cardiac tissue non-thermally through irreversible electroporation (IRE).🫀 Are we saying goodbye to thermal ablation sometime in the future⁉️ #CardioTwitter DocWire News CardioNerds docwirenews.com/cardionerds/pu…

Patient admitted for a COPD exacerbation. You see the patient in the ED an hour after admission and look at tele and see this…what do you do next?

Once again thank you to Andrew J Sauer MD for the excellent talk (and discussion with the Jefferson Cardiology Fellows) on #wellness and beyond. A lot of great points but by far my favorite was this one from the late Dr. Art Moss, from the Univ. of Rochester: “Make it home for dinner”

It's been a blast collaborating with these two in EP research throughout the past 3 years of residency at Jefferson Health. It's goodbye for now as Sean Dikdan leaves for EP fellowship and myself for cardiology fellowship - but looking forward to future catch-ups over dinner! Daniel Frisch, MD

Graduation dinner for 3rd year Jefferson Cardiology Fellows. So proud of the colleagues they've become and their bright futures. From left: Rachel Laulusa Debenham (IC), Sean Dikdan (EP), Eitan Frankel (EP), Harsh Doshi ((IC), PD Greg Marhefka, Tal Zivan and Sara Collins (attendings). Congratulations!

rrayjr.blog/?fbclid=PAAaZE… Really worth the read. This is awful, and made more atrocious that it is going on in what should be a learning/teaching clinical environment.

We showed that mECG use reduced ambulatory cardiac monitor use in the post-ablation period. It did not reduce the number of office/ED visits, hospital admissions, or telephone/EMR patient messages.
