Looking forward to this anthology! This artwork by Kadir Nelson is perfection! Can’t wait to see it on our library shelves.
✨💙 Yesterday truly was magical, joyful, and dreamy, huh? Loved every moment of seeing these covers by Black authors everywhere. Loved sharing this with @brownbookworm and Elise Bryant (not here anymore). Love this for us. 💜✨
Alone by Megan E. Freeman follows Maddie as she finds herself alone in an abandoned town with only a rottweiler named George & books as company. She has to fight loneliness & figure out how to survive. Written in verse this story pulls you right in & keeps you hooked until the end.
