I’ve been editing all year. Feels a little weird to get back into writing. I’ve been putting off finishing this project but, after re-reading my notes, I’m looking forward to getting back into things! Anyone else have a project they know they should get back to?

As a slow reader, 7-day skip-the-line loans on Libby for 900+ page books are the world's way of testing me... (Side note: I succeeded)

Been debating for a while what I wanted to say about Nosferatu (2024). Full disclosure: I respected the originality and artistry of the 1922 version but never enjoyed it (thought it was too slow), and I didn’t like the 1979 version at all. There’s some clear artistic intention

I’m slowly realizing that I set most of my horror stories in the winter…wonder what that means 🤔 Anyway, check out A Little Slice if you like teenage angst, obsession with grandeur, demonic entities, and, of course, copious amounts of blood

I Bury Them Alive by Matt Converse mixes elements of the classic amateur sleuth novel with an Edgar Allan Poe style of buried-alive horror. Definitely one of the more original reads I’ve experienced of late

Into the final section of my novella—this has been one of my tougher writing experiences but I think I’m finally finding some flow. Better late than never?
