Caroline Hesketh has been campaigning against the closure of Adlington Library - a final decision will be made today

As expected LCC have made the decision to withdraw all services from Adlington Library at some point between 1st Oct and 30th Nov.

Quick up date. Cllr Kim Kim Snape and others got the decision 'called in'. At meeting on Tuesday LCC up held the decision to close library

We were disapionted but not surprised that we could not change their minds. So Adlington Library and others will close in the coming weeks.

Thanks to everyone who helped with #SaveAdlingtonLibrary. We are now working with #ChorleyBoroughCouncil to keep a library in the town

Funding and a lot of hard work is needed to make this a reality.
