The results are in and Carrot River's new Mayor is Roman Charko. Thank you to all 161 voters that came out today to cast their vote, and the 298 total voters who participated in this by-election.

POWER OUTAGE UPCOMING SaskPower will be doing Emergency Repairs this afternoon that is said to affect the municipality of Carrot River from 2:00PM-6:00PM today. Our office called SaskPower direct and confirmed that this will indeed affect the entire Town during this time.

Town of CR will be testing water pressure out of the fire hydrants today which can cause similar effects to when the new Water Treatment Plant went online. Please do not be alarmed at these effects or seeing the fire truck out and about today and please refer to the below notice.

This fella has went missing from its owners and was brought to the Town of Carrot River’s Dog Pound. This pup was found Along Highway 55, west of the six mile corner. The pup has a choker collar on it. Please contact us ASAP if this is your pup or you know who’s pup it is!
