Great detail on this bottom sash if you look closely. The bronze channel next to the glass is to collect condensation, which, as many of you will know, is the curse of single glazed windows. This particular window is to be fitted with #Fineo vacuum glazing so no more condensation

Great event hosted by Stirling City Heritage Trust today. Gathering owners of traditional buildings with suitably qualified practitioners. Lots of people sharing a common love of our precious Built Heritage in the same room was very refreshing. Thanks Stirling City Heritage Trust Historic Environment Scotland

This week's challenge is to provide a scope of works for this incredible restoration. Much of the original timbers have survived in fair to good condition, sometimes neglect can be your friend.

More reproduction roof parts for our roof restoration job all exact copies of the original parts. Now for the batch we consider suitable for repairs rather than replacement.

Some strapped finials from our roof restoration in for duplication, four in all will be remanufactured in #Accoya and then four coats of Remmers from #Elmbridge to ensure they last another 100 years
