Japanese musician beaten up in New York for being 'Chinese'. Tadataka Unno, a Japanese jazz pianist, was assaulted by eight youths at a subway station on Sept 27. Reminiscent of Vincent Chin, a Chinese beaten up to death in Detroit for being 'Japanese', on June 19, 1982.
