Seth Meyers criticizes Biden for saying in late February that he was still “hopeful” for a ceasefire in Gaza:

The situation at Gaza's hospitals is unimaginable. Staff with IRC - International Rescue Committee, Medical Aid for Palestinians and The PCRF (Palestine Children's Relief Fund) are reporting horrific scenes of patients dying from infections with evidence of serious malnutrition.

The UN Security Council has adopted a resolution demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.

The resolution also calls for the immediate, unconditional release of all hostages.

“This resolution must be implemented. Failure would be unforgiveable,” said António Guterres.
