Irish come from behind to win home opener 8-6 over St. Catherine. Simmonds with the win, 2 hits, a solo blast into the wind, & two runs scored. Wachowiak 2 runs scored, 2 hits including inside the park HR. Rix-Renne 2 hits, 2 runs and 3 RBI. Hartmann & Roose each with hits.

Irish use strong opening and closing innings to take a DH from Rochester. Simmonds & Wachowiak go yard in the opener for the 2nd straight game, they each pick up the W in the circle. Freshman Hartmann hits her 1st career HR.

Irish rebound from their 1st loss of the season to take 2 from Centerline. Simmonds & Wachowiak with wins. Hartmann hits 1st career grand slam & Wachowiak a 2 run walkoff HR. Celebrated our seniors Simmonds, Roose, & Roth-thank you for your leadership & excellence on the field!

Wachowiak picks up a pair of wins (vs Royal Oak & Roch. Adams) and hits an inside the park HR to help the Irish win the round robin trny at Flynn Park. Simmonds with a win, a save (Athens & Adams respectively) and a key 2B hit in the final contest. Congrats girls!

Softball: Notre Dame defeats Armada 4-3 to claim the MHSAA District Championship. Wachowiak with a walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Proud of this team winning Notre Dame's 17th district title in 28 tries. Great effort today as they defeated Brandon 11-1 & Armada (who defeated Lutheran North) 4-3. Simmonds & Wachowiak vet tbe W's, Roth goes yard, Wachowiak with a walk off single.
