Great to visit one of our almshouses and meet Rev Ruth Brothwell. Her grandad was a trustee of @WaltonCharity in the 1950s-60s. Ruth was at the opening of the re-built Mayfield in 1966, and presented a bouquet. The first reference to an almshouse here was in 1774 AlmshouseAssociation

One of the great things about working for @WaltonCharity is that we have green spaces available for local people and community groups to use, including our community allotment and the Tree Canopy project. Today we had our own team meeting there! waltoncharity.org.uk/tree-canopy-pr…
