A bike-lane moved 2.5X as many people as a regular traffic lane in a @TFL study, & given that they are half the width, the study concluded that bike-lanes are 5X as efficient as vehicle traffic lanes. HT 21st Century City Mobility in cities is about space.

G'day Queensland Rail I note the isolated weekdays track closure on the Sunshine Coast line Tuesday 16 Sep, Wednesday 17 Sep. This is unusual. Why is it during the week and not weekend? translink.com.au/updates/836711 Thanks.

Andrew Potts Gold Coast Bulletin Imagine having a world-leading transport link that has exceeded expectations and is the envy of cities everywhere, and then saying "nope, we don't want any more of that here".

Mark Gottlieb (@markgottlieb) 's Twitter Profile Photo

This is incredibly stupid. Stage Four gets the light rail to the airport... Gold Coast is pretty much a straight line. Having one connected Light Rail line from the North all the way to Cooly was a no-brainer.
