Our first #CanadaDay! Also my first official day working for Vancouver School of Theology. (For those in the UK: this is a great day to start a new job as it's a public holiday.)

In anticipation of the first act at the South stage at #vanfolkfest

Amazing first set at #vanfolkfest a workshop of bluegrass and Country organised by Bella White with Molly Tuutle, Stringband Sundae and friends.

After the #LambethCall was redrafted, I was hopeful that a continuing relationship between provinces was possible. After this, I'm not so confident. Views on sexuality have become the test for orthodoxy in minds of many and disagreement is seen as heresy. It's very sad.

Having been Keeper of the Fabric Wells Cathedral and being part of many building related projects in that role, it is a blast from the (recent) past to see the Chapel of Vancouver School of Theology being refurbished!

A few weeks' ago we saw a lumberjack show in Ketchikan. (It's well worth going to see). Now in the woods I keep seeing the evidence of the 'springers'. It's amazing how long the stumps of these trees have stood; at least one was cut down at least 120 years' ago!

Saw a relative of Woody Woodpecker's today.
