Today was a hard day. My heart is with the students, staff and families at Central who are hurting. We grieve together as a community. Be gentle with each other, slow down, and tell the people in your life just how much they mean to you.

I heard this cover of Just a Girl this morning (youtube.com/watch?v=Is6GV6…). In 2020, only 13% of engineers were women. We are generations away from parity (universityaffairs.ca/features/featu…). Getting girls excited about STEM is one step and it only happens with a focus on equity.
