You can navigate a track using either a roadbook or a GPX trail. Both methods allow for waypoints, speed zones, real-time results, penalties, ride replays, and more. You can combine different navigation types in event sections as needed.

RoadbookRally supports three unique section start types: "Standing Start", "Open Rolling Start", and "Rolling Start with Time Window". There's no need to hire a timing official for rolling starts. Learn more about section start types here: roadbookrally.com/faq/section-st…

RoadbookRally introduced a penalty for not stopping at STOP signs. Competitors must slow down to under 1 km/h to be recognized as having stopped. The organizers can edit the STOP penalty rules, including radius, speed, and penalty seconds.

New feature in the RBR Roadbook Reader app: now you can hide the partial odometer if you don't use it. This prevents it from accidentally mixing with other numbers while you quickly glance at the screen.

A new feature in the RBR Roadbook Reader app: the speed warning vertical bar's maximum height is aligned with the odometer, ensuring it does not obstruct the view, thereby keeping the odometer clearly visible.

🛠️ Admin improvements for better event prep: ✅ Event admins (and their team) can now access the Live Tracking page anytime—great for thorough testing and early planning (yes, even a year ahead!). 👀 The admin team can now see testers on the live map.

New: Nominal Time configuration. Handle DNS, DNF, or late finishes fairly and automatically. Example: If a competitor misses a section or finishes late, the system can assign a standard result time (either a fixed time or winner’s time + X minutes) to keep overall results fair.

New feature: Track and event owners can now download GPX files of competitor rides - perfect for sharing, analysis, backups, or updating routes.

It’s now possible to sort the track leaderboard by riding time. First attempts reveal pure navigation skill. Later attempts show speed. Now you can view both: keep the default (attempts + time) or sort by riding time only.

Small update: printed section class results now automatically include the organizer’s and sponsor’s logos. Should this be a toggle in event admin to enable/disable logos?
