Friday we attended the 5th Annual Cal State LA Conference: Reintegration of Formerly Incarcerated Population (FIP): Access and Utilization of Higher Education.

A criminal conviction has significant & long-lasting impacts – from losing your job to housing to even your right to vote. Expungement helps reduce recidivism & increases public safety by lifting barriers to employment, housing, & education. #NationalExpungementWeek

Two proven ways to reduce recidivism is through education & employment, both of these are at the 🖤 of what we do here. Our hope is that with the coding training received pre-release & our holistic, integrated case management post-release, we can impact these #’s here in AZ 🌵💕
