🤝👁️🗨️ Our partner Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) has an essential part to play in the RideSafeUM project. Their extensive knowledge and expertise on image and signal processing is proving key during the creation of the system’s core functionalities.

🚴🖥️🏢The development of RideSafeUM continues, following the hard work done during the first months of the year to define the base of the system’s architecture. Within this structure, three key actors were defined: the user, the technology provider and the city authority.

🤝📱⚙️We are proud to have Applus IDIADA in the RideSafeUM consortium. They are a central piece of the puzzle for system development. Their software development expertise is key to building a robust system, ensuring that RideSafeUM can be as versatile and efficient as possible.

⚠️🤕🔎 Accident monitoring is one of the key functionalities that are being developed within the RideSafeUM project framework. Based mainly on gyroscope/accelerometer data, the system will be able to identify whether an accident has taken place.

🗨️Yesterday RideSafeUM participated of this year’s edition of ITS European Congress in Toulouse. The project was presented as part of a session centered on technologies in the field of safety.

🚲💡🗨️ RideSafeUM was pleased to be part of the EIT Urban Mobility’s RIS Hub Greece Bike-athon event on the 5th of June. The project was exhibited as part of initiatives helping to promote cycling, in this case through increased safety and regulation awareness.

🦺🎤 Last week, the RideSafeUM project was presented in the 2022 edition of the EU Safety Conference, taking place in the city of #Vienna. The project was presented as part of a session focused on smart solutions for #RoadSafety .

🇮🇹 We have been in Rome testing the RideSafeUM technology this week. 📍 Being on-site gave us the opportunity to test the various restrictions applied to multiple areas of the city and keep improving our app. 💪 We keep working to make #micromobility safer for all!
