Wildlife is a provincial responsibility. Most caribou declines in Canada are met with no action, except for a BC Indigenous-led program. Provincial gov'ts make empty promises to have a plan someday (Qué) or kill wolves while allowing clearcuts in caribou habitat (BC, Alberta).
