Japan is in a terrible spot. High debt means it's constantly having to choose between a falling Yen and allowing interest rates to rise. The BoJ this week chose the latter and is signaling a December rate hike. Long-term yields like 10y20y forward (red) are back to August highs.

For now, the market is approaching year-end with strong earnings momentum, a better sentiment backdrop following the palate-cleansing of speculative excesses, an accommodative Fed, and a quiet bond and currency market. It’s not a bad way to end the year! Bitcoin: fun with math

Sovereigns were supposed to be the back-stop. Now they are the epicentre of the debt problem – owing $111 trillion. Who is going to bail them out? The IMF? I think not.

It has certainly been an interesting year for gold and Bitcoin. Gold mooned while Bitcoin swooned. Is it time for mean reversion? In my view, not yet.

As for the 40, I continue to be a superfan of gold and Bitcoin, but I suspect that both of them may take a year off before potentially dominating the scene once again. As the chart shows below, gold has only just started what could be another super cycle against equities. And

South Africa loves my brother The Kiffness because he's real and true! A father, husband, patriot, and an award winning international artist. Kirstenbosch is ready to dance and sing with you, less the anti Christian and anti Jew nuisances. Have a lekker one tomorrow🇿🇦!

For those too young to remember, this is just how it was back then. A banger would drop and everyone would just start dancing in unison like a Disney flick or something. Wild, but that was just normal for the time. Houses also used to be affordable back then
