I had to call an ambulance yesterday for a loved one (she’s home and everything is fine, thankfully, after a long day at the ER). The compassion and professionalism of the Cranston Fire RI personnel who responded was really amazing, and we can’t possibly thank them enough.
The kind words I’ve received in response to this mean the world to me. It’s deeply humbling. For those who might not have read or heard, I’m leaving the Herald for a new role with Rhode Island Senate. Thank you all for everything, and remember, I won’t be far away. cranstononline.com/stories/thank-…?
