        Tim Sweeney A simple 'for ... { ... }` loop is always easier to read and understand than "functional programming" garbage built on top of callbacks passed to map, reduce, filter, etc. As an additional benefit, compilers can optimize 'for ...` loops much better than FP-based callback hell.
