Thank you Governor Tim Walz and Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan for proclaiming Infertility Awareness Week in MN and raising awareness of the struggles so many face during family building. #NIAW2023 #OneMinnesota #mnleg resolveorg

#mnleg It's Infertility Awareness Week. Pls keep fertility insurance provision in the final HHS omnibus bill. No cost to the state. Minimal, if any, cost to insurers. 1 in 6 have infertility & LGBTQ families & cancer survivors need medical assistance to have kids🙏🧡

Today is not an easy day for many. Whether they have had pregnancy losses, infertility issues, mothers that can’t be with them, etc. Unfortunately, sometimes, these “holidays” can just remind some of what they don’t have. Therefore, I want to take a moment if I could to

1 in 6 struggle w/the disease of infertility, and the LGBTQ+ community & cancer patients also need medical intervention to have a baby. #mnleg Pls include the fertility insurance provision in the final HHS bill. No budget impact. @TinaLiebling Melissa H Wiklund Minnesota Senate DFL Minnesota House DFL

Around Mom's Day, I wrote about these #mnleg proposals: -New accommodations for pregnant or lactating employees -Requirement that insurers cover infertility treatments -Exempting more baby products from sales tax (that now has been removed from tax bill) startribune.com/lactating-or-p…

We have disappointing news to share about our MN fertility insurance provision in the HHS omnibus bill. Read the statement from resolveorg and continue to fight with us. Thank you bill sponsors Sen. Erin Maye Quade and Jeff Brand resolve.org/important-minn… #mnleg

I’m saddened this didn’t make it across the finish line, but even more committed to getting this done next sessions thank you to all of the advocates and Minnesotans who shared their stories. We will keep going!

Thank you Erin Maye Quade for fighting for MN families! We have labor, doctors, the LGBTQ community and pro-family advocates. We’ll be back next session to get this done. RESOLVE Midwest Summit Governor Tim Walz

Emma Greenman can you please explain why the fertility insurance provision was not included in the HHS bill? If we are going to be pro-women's health in our policies, that means that this NEEDS to be covered. Minnesota families need this.
