Most workers develop their skills outside of a four-year college classroom — and local businesses want to hire them. But arbitrary degree requirements for federal contracts block skilled Virginians from supporting much of our Commonwealth's economy. I'm pressing OMB for a fix.

The Port of Virginia drives economic investment and job creation not just in Hampton Roads, but for the entire United States of America. Today, I spent the afternoon at the Port with the Virginia Port Authority to discuss how I can continue to be a strong federal partner.
