🚨 EXCL: Arsenal make contact with Chelsea over move for Noni Madueke. Clubs now in talks after 23yo #CFC winger agreed personal terms on proposed 5yr contract. No deal yet but England int’l prioritising #AFC above any other interested sides The Athletic | Football nytimes.com/athletic/64751…

I like Madueke, he’s a good player with some high upside. But the fact that Chelsea, who have consistently been worse than Arsenal for a few years now, don’t see him as untouchable says a lot. It’s a floor easier but IMO this summer should have been about raising the ceiling

Rory McIlroy is coming home for The Open this week. So I went back to Holywood — where we both grew up — to trace the roots of his rise. For The Athletic nytimes.com/athletic/64911…

Viktor Gyokeres helps evolve Arsenal’s attack beyond just the goals he scores As their on the verge of an agreement with Sporting, here’s a look at how he and Noni Madueke could see Mikel Arteta get more out of this squad nytimes.com/athletic/64929…

The thing that makes me not too worried is Old Trafford has always been a bad ground for Arsenal. In 22/23, it was a 3-1 loss. In 23/24 it was a scrappy 1-0 win. It doesn’t reflect how good the team is/will be

Aaron Catterson-Reid (@reidthegame) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Going for a LW now feels imperative (it already was IMO). Trossard/Merino can cover Gyokeres. That ceiling raiser on the left is needed

🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Arsenal make move for Eberechi Eze + 27yo wants them. Tottenham lined up deal with #CPFC today & player but after Havertz injury + #AFC now closing in on England in’l. If he proceeds with choice, #THFC will pursue other targets The Athletic | Football nytimes.com/athletic/65653…

Eze is the game-changer Arsenal desperately needed. Someone that can use his imagination and individual brilliance to unlock a deep block. Couldn't be more on-board with this move. So happy
