*they make their way over to a nearby fire, a scruffy-looking boy of about ten cooking up a breakfast composed of salmon, venison, and eggs*

*the boy glances up at the pair and grins, nodding to her* "Finally up, Rey?" *she rolls her eyes, reaching down and ruffling his dark hair*

*glances around at the variety of mangy-looking kids around the fire, most chatting among themselves but a couple skinning small animals*

*these were all those who had not yet been turned, and she was obviously the oldest of them with the closest in age being fifteen or so,--

*flips it open and examines the contents, smiling widely as she sees the cheese, bread, and skin of wine within, rare commodities there*

*quickly digs in, greatly enjoying having something other than the usual meat, water, and wild berries to eat*
