Understanding your students better as well as supporting their wellbeing (and staff wellbeing at the same time)? That gets a big thumbs up from us! The Open University staff members, Professor Kate Lister and @t1mc, created a tool that helps do just that. jisc.ac.uk/blog/the-secre…

Hive mind: what do you call your online learning area where you work? Disclosure: anyone who suggests <Company Name> University is liable to be blocked ;)

Thank you. I think that's one of the things I will have to do though at this point of assignment planning (my final ever one for this Masters 😮) I am currently in this mode:

An extremely quiet Y11 student of mine has flourished online, more vocal in lessons through chat, the quality of work produced has been ✅. When asked are you looking forward to returning on Monday? the response was "no way". What should we do with pupils who work better at home?

Just seen the video, you could see how genuinely impressed and enthused First Lady Melania Trump was, and the Duchess's continued support of early education. It is the time of foundation but don't forget for those not fortunate enough to have such, we can help them forge forward at all ages

This is really interesting. I used a lot of screen reading software during my masters due to eye strain. Currently at work am creating some accessible instructions for a project for visually and hearing impaired users. A learning curve and interesting topic.

Are you a current or recent doctoral student? Would you be interested in doing some paid course authoring work for a new MOOC on FutureLearn? Then look no further: ble.ac.uk/vacancies

Just sat through a presentation on inclusion where the speaker said older people have low digital literacy. Given my experience in manufacturing, digital literacy has to do with experience, not age. I also think if you do a presentation on inclusion, ditch the stereotypes.
