Recovery is the name of the game. - Eat - Sleep - Hydrate - Mobility - Meditate/Journal The faster you recover, the better you perform. 💯

How well do you know your pitchers? - What's their best pitch? - Do they perform better angry or calm? - Do they look at your glove or body? - Do they like Pineapple on Pizza? The only way to know is by asking. Get to know your pitchers! 💯

Who you surround yourself with often defines you. Who you take advice from often determines your outcomes. Take a look at your circle... Are they helping or hindering? If the top of the mountain is the goal, make sure everyone is going the same direction. 💯

You have 2 choices... 1. Set the tone. 2. Be a part of someone else's. Whenever you start to feel out of control... - Step back and look around. - Set course. - Adjust your mindset. - Adjust intensity. - Keep your head up, take a breath, smile, and GO! #Hunnoww #OneDayBetter

Reminder: Muscle is expensive. If you aren't lifting during the season you will be significantly weaker at the end of it. You worked hard to get it, put in the work to keep it.💯

A 1.9 second pop-time takes 1.9 seconds. Time doesn't care how hard you throw, or how fast your release is. It's just a measure of how long it takes. A good rule of thumb is... "Get to your back foot and let it fly at 100% as quickly as you can." Sandpaper from there.💯

Former Chipola Junior College coach Del Hughes always said, "Very few high school aged games are ever won", the majority are simply lost by the other team". Let that sink in for a minute. Poor hitting approaches, zero count awareness, walks, errors, baserunning mistakes, etc.

Mobility can gatekeep the jump to the next level... If you are a catcher you need to start working on: - Front Splits - Side Splits - Ankle Flexion - 90/90s - Hip Flexor Stretch - Seated Toe Touches "The more flexible you are, the easier catching gets."💯

Life is 90% of how you perceive it, and 10% of what it actually is... If you think you can't, you won't. If you think you can, you will. #OneDayBetter #BestDayYet

Today was the first day I felt close to normal. ~50% energy, but was able to get outside and work. Thank you to everyone who sent messages. Appreciate you!

Who remembers this video from TCU? Not ashamed to say this was my alarm clock for nearly a year after it came out. If you haven't seen it, strap in.
