Hi TfL @TfLTrafficNews , is the Blackwall Tunnel closing overnight for its regular works? Need to cross the river tomorrow between 5-6am and I’m banned from the Rotherhithe Tunnel now 😢

The stark realisation of having to find an alternative route to the #Rotherhithe #Tunnel just got even worse with TfL announcing the #Blackwall #Tunnel will also be closed. Apparently, “every journey matters”. I beg to differ.

Need to cross the river from SW4 to E10. Don’t really want to pay #congestion #charge, #Lambeth #Bridge is closed, not allowed to use #Rotherhithe #Tunnel (too tall and heavy) and #Blackwall #Tunnel traffic is already queuing. Any ideas TfL @TfLTrafficNews ? 😶

Rotherhithe Tunnel open ONLY for cars, due to urgent work on ventilation. OR because the GLA doing feasibility study on development of OUR park at Branch Road, above the tunnel? Do we really want families living in this environment?

@TfLTrafficNews And now with the road being closed in both directions in deptford / Surrey quays .. vans are stuck and only have tower bridge to go over .. absolute joke !!

I'm in the same position as you it's madness to send all the traffic over #towerbridge or out to blackwell. Maybe they enjoy watching the traffic outside their window of #cityhall
