The threat is now a reality: today, the U.S. Supreme Court ended federal abortion protection. A woman's right to chose when to become pregnant is hers alone. The lives of poor and marginalized women just got more dangerous, less safe, more inequitable, and less humane. 💔

Yesterday, I informed my elementary-aged, American-born sons about the decision. “That is NOT fair, that is NOT right!” While relieved to learn about WA state’s position, my 10 year old continued to be frustrated by SCOTUS — “Why don’t they care about women?” Breathe!✊🏽#RoeVWade

A child dies of pneumonia every 39 seconds, and vaccinating children with #PCV helps to prevent the disease. I encourage all efforts to protect children from pneumonia and save lives.
