This Juneteenth, we have an opportunity to unite as One Providence against injustice & reflect on our nation's history. Today, I signed an Executive Order alongside community members & our African American Ambassadors Group to mark June 19, 2021, an official City of Providence Holiday.

Pretty cool opportunity to check out RI's copy of the Declaration of Independence and Bill of Rights this Friday by Secretary of State Nellie Gorbea ahead of, appropriately enough, Independence Day. Only one of 13 in existence for each.
