Wondering how you can see the #AtlasV launch of #Kuiper1 for #Amazon? This visibility map shows when and where your best chances are to see the rocket as it lifts off on Wednesday and heads northeasterly into space.

This #AtlasV 551 rocket, designated AV-107, stands 205 feet (62.5m) tall and will weigh 1.3 million pounds (589,000kg) once fully fueled for liftoff. It leaves the pad on 2.7 million pounds (12 megaNewtons) of thrust from the main engine and five SRBs to launch #Kuiper1.

Pumped for Project Kuiper’s first full-scale launch this week. This team is genuinely world class at what they do, and it’s a massive step forward to be sending our first production satellites into space. Super proud of the team, and excited about what’s to come. Go Atlas V! Go

Nominal start to our KA-01 mission. We’ve already established contact with all 27 Kuiper satellites in orbit, and initial deployment and activation sequences are proceeding as planned. Thanks to @ULAlaunch for a successful launch – the first of many missions together.

Important moment for Project Kuiper as we just confirmed our first 27 production satellites are operating as expected in low Earth orbit. While this is the first step in a much longer journey to launch the rest of our low Earth orbit constellation, it represents an incredible

Take a look at this @ULAlaunch clip of the first Kuiper satellites being released into low Earth orbit approximately 280 miles above the planet. Deployment takes place over a 15-minute period after launch, with satellites released three at a time from the dispenser system.
