After four weeks, time to fly home! I always feel sad about leaving this area... hoping to be back again soon :3

Landed in London! It's cool and cloudy, which is actually a relief after a month of sunshine and hot weather...

And, finally back in Liverpool (on schedule - despite the best efforts of the planes and trains en route). Three more weeks until the next adventure!

My Hubble Space Telescope proposal was accepted again this year!

Wow, this is a first: I was asked to review a telescope proposal from a group in India this week and the text is basically a carbon copy of one of my own proposals - they plagiarized the whole thing! I expect this sort of thing from undergrads, but not from actual scientists...!

Had a great birthday weekend in Berlin visiting friends - now onward to the other side of the world!

Made the most of a 24-hour stopover in Singapore... so much to see! So much good food! And a really kind and welcoming group of local furries to do most of it with :)
