The snow is really coming down out there!! Please stay off the roads if travel is not necessary!

FYI the traffic lights on Main Street at Academy and Chapman Streets are not working. We are in the process of getting them fixed.

The Main Street lights are working again.

Light snow and dropping temperatures will likely make the roads hazardous. Please use caution if driving tonight.

The City is starting snow removal. If you are parked on the street, please move your vehicle or it will be towed at your expense.

Maine Public Service is aware of the outage in Mars Hill and are working on it. Please avoid calling as they are busy and may not answer.

Please use caution on the roads this afternoon we have had some recent snow in the area making the road quite slippery.

Expect delays on RT 1 in Westfield, the road is closed and traffic is being detoured.

Rt 1 is now open.

PI Public Works will start snow removal tonight at 10pm, please have your vehicles off the streets or they can be towed at owner's expense

There is a fire on Main St in the area of Governors Restaurant. Please avoid this area as there are hoses across Main St and Academy St

There is a power outage in the area of Parsons St and State Rd, there is a transformer on fire. PIFD and Maine Public Service responding.

There is construction for the next two days at the 5-way, you can expect delays or find an alternative route.

ATV trails are open today in PI except for the trail from PI to Caribou (CP Trail) and through Paul Cyr's property. Ride safe and enjoy!
