On #Schweinepiraten we explain important words about our work in german. We are vey proud for the word #Porkomancer - and we don´t only have pigs in our stories. Porkomancers protect all animals - from monkeys to dinosaurs, from pigs to dolphins.

Someone once said to me: What, your pirates get pigs as a reward? A pig was quite expensive and valuable back in the days of pirates. Yes, but Schweinepiraten or #Porkomancer don't want to eat a pig – they want it as a friend!

An attempt to create an Instagram account so we could share pictures of the pig art failed. We got a strange error message. Until then, you'll have to make do with our tweets and YouTube videos. I hope that's okay.

We now have a TikTok account, but before I share the link or the first video—which will basically be the same videos as on YouTube—I'll wait a bit. Things don't always work as they should on TikTok either.

And TikTok is already causing trouble: I uploaded my first video and was immediately logged out with the message "Account is at risk." Logging in is only possible with a verification code sent via email, and then I get the message: "Too many attempts."

🐷👣 I'm currently working on setting up a blog in german and english for longer posts. There, I want to publish fewer fictional stories and more facts, interesting information, and even funny anecdotes from the world of pigs. And also what it means to be a pig pirate.

What is a Porkomancer? This is a portmanteau word, combining "porko" for "pig" and "mancer," derived from "romancer" for "romantic." Porkomancers are therefore people who have a passion for pigs. This passion signifies a friendly affection for all kinds of pigs.

In our new Wallow World film project, we'll take you around the globe and introduce you to people who wallow in the mud with pigs – swineherds, farmers, or curious students caring for animals. We'll also introduce you to the pig breeds typical of each country.

Paco lives in Oaxaca, Mexico, and will introduce us to pigs from his homeland. The boy loves playing in the mud and jumping in puddles. As a soccer player, he and his friends sometimes play soccer in the rain and aren't afraid of mud and dirt. #Porkomancer #WallowWorld

Amari lives in Nigeria, Africa. There, this particularly brave boy will be caring for warthogs. Amari is doing an internship at a zoological institute and is allowed to observe the animals and to help the animal welfare workers care for the warthogs. #Porkomancer #WallowWorld
