One of my Lenten obligations is to do one undesirable chore in our home. It's kind of cool - pushing myself and making a little difference. Let's face it - so many chores are undesirable but it feels good to offer it up for your love of God.

Lent started a week ago - seems longer.

Serving dinner for my grandson, he’s five, asked why my broccoli was white. Oh, it’s called cauliflower.

One of my Lenten obligations is to not eat past 6 pm. Honestly folks, we would be happier if we lived with intentional sacrifices everyday.

I would like to change all the names of Sports teams that carry the name Devils - why give devils glory? I’m not suggesting we name teams angels there are plenty of great mascot names without using Devils.

Spring forward Sunday, March 8th Mornings will be darker for longer, but evenings will stay brighter.
