Tobacco is known for causing cardiovascular diseases, addiction & multiple cancers. As such, together with other partners are launching the Tobacco Taxation Policy and Structure in Uganda. This project aims at strengthening tobacco control efforts through increased taxation.

Sustainable development growth requires good health & well-being. Today, we've joined together with stakeholders to launch the Tobacco Taxation Policy & Structure in Uganda focused on tobacco tax increase & reduction of its use, & fighting against non-communicable diseases.

Today, 10th September, I joined the UNHCO - Uganda and the other stake holders from Uganda, to launch the a national campaign against #Tobacco in Uganda. #FreeTobaccoUg | #TobaccoCampaign
