What a match! Phenomenal for Cystal Palace beating Man City today in the FA Cup Final. Well deserved. Now let’s go Newcastle against Arsenal tomorrow…

Less than a day after DUP MLAs fell over themselves to raise issues of their own making for social media, + proposed a solution that made no sense, ‘local homes for local people’ posters have appeared in Belfast Leadership is looking beyond yourself + knowing words have meaning

This is sad news to see. I studied French in school and University and while it may be a bit rusty it opened my eyes to different experiences, people and sounds. We need more language learning in NI schools to seize our unique place in the world. bbc.com/news/articles/…

Last year across NI, over 600+ volunteers gave their time freely to respond to over 100,000 calls for help — that’s around 300 calls every single day. We cannot thank our volunteers enough for their compassion, commitment, and care. 💚 #VolunteersWeek #ThankYouVolunteers

I don’t use twitter much anymore. It died when Musk took over. I am here for his meltdown about Trump though. Let this be a starting point of the wake up call for all the politicians who lined up to praise Trump upon his election.

Now, In Tel Aviv, hundreds of Israeli Jews and Palestinians are marching silently outside the Israeli Defense Ministry, holding photos of Palestinian children killed by Israeli airstrikes in Gaza.

Solidarity with my friend + colleague Andrew Muir MLA Over the past few months I’ve seen him field abuse on a regular basis. In the chamber + outside of it Most of it is pantomime politics based on lies and conspiracies. Death threats are a step too far + he has my full support

Appealing for calm in Ballymena right now. I know through my Council colleagues that the vast majority of people there don't support these actions in their community. There is no place for violence. Please stop.

Solidarity with anyone peacefully standing with the victims' family but let's be clear: nobody rioted when these women died. The PSNI recorded 4,090 sexual offences in NI in 23/24. Nobody rioted. Most of the perpetrators are Northern Irish men.

Today is 12 years since my diagnosis with Multiple Sclerosis. A milestone that always feels a bit strange but important to acknowledge. It hasn’t held me back, I’m still putting one foot forward each day and doing what I can to help people in East Belfast and beyond.

I don’t see concerns. I don’t see people standing up for women + girls. I don’t see support for victims of sexual crime I see racists attacking their community May the politicians who have weaponised minorities under the label of ‘legitimate concerns’ hang their heads in shame

Delighted that it looks as though the Executive will agree the bid for £5m I submitted to assist the PSNI with the costs of the past week's unrest. It’s a good start but long-term investment is required.

Disgraceful scenes taking place in Derry City again tonight. Credit to the PSNI officers facing down these rioters. Their behaviour is nothing short of disgraceful and achieves nothing but hold us back.
