ON THIS DAY - 2001: Plumtree CC hosted a Six-a-Side Tournament for the benefit of illness victim and enormously popular KeyworthCC opening bat/wicket keeper Barry ‘Biffa’ Newby. He sadly passed away on 20 May 2007 aged 39 years.

It is with profound sadness that we report that our friend Paul Bowman has passed away. Paul's family and wide circle of friends are in our thoughts.

For the first time, there are three Plumdogs playing in the same First-Class match, KwaZulu-Natal Inland v Western Province. Ben Compton scored 68 for KZN whilst Kyle Simmonds grabbed 6-129. Bedders now opening for Western Province currently on 69* - going well boys!
