In the 1924 short POSTAGE DUE, Willy Worst (Stan Laurel) poses in an Auto Foto machine. This 1910s precursor to the photobooth took a single photo in a brass frame for 10¢. This marks the earliest appearance of an automated photo machine we’ve yet seen. photobooth.net/movies_tv/inde…

For someone who has researched, solicited, and cataloged tips on analog photobooth locations for the last 20 years, what a delight to stumble upon an unknown and unexpected location in the wild. Thanks to Aimee for spotting it, and cheers to Antique Emporium in Kingston, Ontario.
