I'm thrilled to be one of two winners of the 2023 Senior Kirkaldy Prize! It was awarded for my essay which analyzed the early modern annotations on the medieval Ripley Scroll at the Bodleian Libraries. Very grateful that my essay on VD in the Vietnam War was selected as winner, and especially cool to win alongside Ellen Hausner! Excited to continue engaging with questions of colonialism, race, sex, and medicine in my current DPhil research on yaws in South & Southeast Asia.
