Year 4 have had a fantastic day at Arbeia Roman Fort in South Shields! It was great to link our learning in the classroom to knowledge in the field looking at remaining forts and reconstructed buildings of how the Romans used to live. 🏺🏛️

Year 3 have had a fun filled afternoon making wraps as part of our DT topic. We followed our designs, used equipment safely and hygienically and tasted our end product!

Year 6 have had a fun afternoon making colour wheels as part of our learning about white light in Science.

This week afternoon nursery have been learning all about scarecrows and their important job role. We have used our new scissor skills to cut out body parts of a scarecrow. We have also been learning a new song called “ Dingle Dangle Scarecrow”.

Ethan raised over £80 after selling homemade comics in school. All the money he collected was spent on non-perishable goods to take to a local food bank.💰 Ethan wanted to give back to the community and we are so proud of him for his creativity and generosity. What a star!🌟🤝🥫

Yesterday, Year Five created living graphs to represent the struggle between the Anglo-Saxons and the Vikings. They documented key events and plotted them on a graph to visualise the power surges and struggles during that era. ⚔️
