Based on OBR inflation forecasts, the 2025/26 LTA would have been £1,162,300 if it had been indexed. The actual 2025/26 LTA (£1,073,100) will be 92% of that. Put another way, the 2025/26 LTA is the same as if it had been cut to ~£990,700 this year and then indexed.
