🤯 One of those amazeballs things that shows how much can be done on the web. 😩 But which also makes me feel inadequate as a web developer. 🎮👾 I feel like playing Halo now ([in Master Chief voice] and bring the Convenant back their bomb)

Oh DHH, you make me chuckle. The vast majority of "TS devs" don't live anywhere near here, so maybe loosen the grip on your anti-TS baseball bat? 😆 Your quoted tweet screams library author/code. If anything, this is a simple testament that writing libraries and abstractions is

By Jeremy Keith 1. When publishing an article on the web, avoid padding it with unnecessary words. 2. A picture is worth 1000 words. Therefore, the best editing you can do is to remove a picture (especially if it's stock photography or AI slop). 🔗 adactio.com/notes/21173

I recently came across some pictures of the Shopify milestones gift that is sent out to merchants that allowed me to update my paper version with proper measurements. I still need to find a better tool to draw the template and some heavier stock paper, but happy with this update

A proposal to improve the Android alarm clock. I keep hitting the stop button when I want to snooze because I can't read the buttons without glasses and I forget which side snooze is on. I overslept again this morning 😴 Having clear color differences would help.

I'm kind of bummed I decided not to go to #CSSDay this year. Last year I got to see so many people I follow and admire in the webdev world and this year there are a bunch of other presenters that I've been following and learning from for years.

The hard parts of software are what come next. when you scope, integrate, scale, upgrade, instrument... when you extend it, understand it, and maintain it. Over the entirety of its lifetime. Generative AI isn't making this easier. If anything, it's making the real work harder.

Oh, this might just be the thing! I can easily miss meetings or show up late when I'm focussed on work. This might bring it more into view.

I don't care that much about football but it would sure be fun to be part of this party. This looks very "gezellig" as we Dutch would say.
