FontBase is a really cool program for syncing and managing fonts between systems. I can set up a Dropbox/Google Drive folder to store my fonts and access them across systems. Good stuff now that I'm working between multiple systems. fontba.se

Holy carp! Hollywood Reporter posted the BTS I cut at Maximum Effort for the Clearly Canadian / Shania Twain spot. This one was fun. Shout out to M.E.! 💪🥳 On a sidenote, in case you were wondering, edit, color, VFX all done in DaVinci Resolve and Fusion (within Resolve).

It’s July… which means Halloween stuff hits stores this month. 🎃🎃🎃

Took me forever to figure out that #Blender3D won't export a single image render from the output menu (it will through compositing > File Output nodes) so you have to set START and END to the same frame and render out an animation. It saves animations, not single frames. Weird.

It's amazing that we have the equivalent of 1.2K HMIs/Arri M18's for the prices we do right now through companies like Aputure and Nanlux. It's a waaay better investment than cameras to make your films look better.

Man, FumeFX is getting all these great updates and Chaos Phoenix is just stagnant right now. I'm sure they're working on a huge update (hopefully MUCH faster) but man, the wait is killing me.

So for anyone who thinks there aren't bugs in certain programs, Davinci Resolve just crashed on me twice for trying to do a Replace Edit on a title. I love Resolve. I love Premiere. I use both professionally everyday at the highest levels. All have bugs & weirdness. Just sayin'.

Crazy what a little time to think and some late night inspiration can do. Had to make a quick revision and now I've found what I wanted to say with this - and it's relevant and timely. Can't wait to bring this one to life. 6th draft.

Magic Mask 1 in Resolve was already REALLY damn good. Just used it today on a commercial spot. Super fast and helpful with roto/comp work. Now having access to Magic Mask 2 on the Fusion page is amazing. Good stuff.

Man, what a crazy week. Juggling 4-5 projects doing multiple jobs like Edit, Motion GFX, Color AND sound in both Premiere and Resolve and VFX in Nuke, Fusion, AND After Effects. Two projects have two of my favorite actors. I’m so grateful. Now to Direct something.

Wow,missing package from B&H Photo Video & both FedEx Help & B&H won't do anything more to help because Fedex says they delivered the package to my apartment mailroom but the "proof of delivery" is a group photo of boxes, none of which are mine. The 1 box I received, not in the photo.

These statements are always funny because in a few months we will start seeing VFX showreels of behind the scenes footage of these movies having full digi doubles, wire removals, set extensions, sky replacements, compositing work, etc, etc
