I'll be speaking tomorrow Laravel Bengaluru about how Docker isn't as intimidating as it seems! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ It's not perfect for every case, but it's fantastic to have in your toolkit. ๐Ÿ”ง Many avoid it due to its complexity, but we'll simplify it together ๐Ÿš€

Going to sleep, and so that I can do it, I do it pretending we're not days away from Laracon, Pest 4, Livewire 4, Forge updates, and so much more....

In the most light hearted way: We can't compare Livewire to Inertia Apples vs Oranges It seems 80% of people that tried LW just forget/don't know that Alpine exists. They try do stuff in LW that before did in React/Vue/JS. I feel like writing a blog post or a video.

I'm a big believer that Livewire is a fantastic tool. Just like when using a sharp knife in the kitchen, I think many people got hurt while "cooking" with it. If that was the case, please reply why, or DM. I'll personally help solve, in future post/video RT for โค๏ธ

๐ŸŒถ๏ธ Hot take: Generally speaking, I don't think people want to go learn fundamentals to apply later. They want results *NOW* and learn along the way. Raziul is right. But I think people often don't do the "right" thing. What do you think?

You won't need this command anymore in v4.0.2 because... well, it's been added to the core ๐Ÿ˜Ž The upgrade script now starts by checking your plugins, and if any incompatible plugin is detected, the upgrade stops immediately.

John is replying to a self-hoster of his product, that the upgrade has all the features, for free, on self-hosting. On a thread where Ghost celebrates a new version and a company's healthy track record, for them and their users. This is so fantastic, at so many levels โค๏ธ

I'm always IN to bring JS closer to Laravel! Still to try, but this solution for Blade and Alpine looks promising! What do you think?!

Pest v4 is here โ€” now with browser testing! โœจ Browser tests that feel like unit tests: Laravel-ready, Playwright-powered, parallel-fast, with smoke & visual regression built in.
